BIM Engineer HVAC & Electrical

ABN Cleanroom Technology is a financially healthy, fast-growing family business active internationally in cleanroom technology. Through our pre-engineered digital-twin approach, we build every cleanroom virtually first — data-driven, parametric, and increasingly supported by AI. This allows us to eliminate failure costs from the process before the first panel is even mounted.
About the Job
As a BIM Engineer HVAC & Electrical, you are the link between design, sales, and execution — and a builder of the system behind it. You translate concept and sales designs into technically feasible BIM models, while simultaneously working on the libraries, standards, and parametric logic that make our engineering scalable. In short: you don’t just build projects, you build the BIM platform that will be used to design hundreds of future cleanrooms. You will work closely with senior engineers and our Configure-to-Order+ manager.
In this role:
- You translate concept and sales designs into technically feasible BIM models.
- You develop HVAC and electrical installations, including air handling systems, ductwork, utilities, cabling, and electrical panels.
- You create and manage coordination and installation drawings in Autodesk Revit.
- You perform clash detection and coordinate with architectural, HVAC, and electrical designs.
- You provide insight into manufacturability, phasing, and material requirements for work preparation.
- You expand our parametric BIM library and help standardize, automate, and industrialize our engineering flow.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone who thinks analytically, understands systems, and enjoys solving complex problems. What we are really looking for is learning ability, curiosity, and an affinity for AI.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as HVAC, electromechanics, or energy technology, or equivalent through experience.
- Knowledge of or a demonstrable affinity for HVAC systems and electrical installations.
- Experience with or a strong willingness to learn Autodesk Revit.
- You think in systems and integrated solutions, and you are structured and critical.
