BIM Engineer HVAC & Electrical
At ABN Cleanroom Technology, we design and build cleanrooms virtually first through our digital twin, pre-engineered cleanroom design approach. This methodology eliminates failure costs, reduces execution risks, and ensures technically robust and scalable cleanrooms.
Driven by the growth of our projects, we are looking for a BIM Engineer HVAC & Electrical to strengthen our project preparation within our CTO+ (Configure to Order) approach.
About the Job
As a BIM Engineer HVAC & Electrical – Work Preparation, you act as the link between design, sales, and execution. You work closely with senior engineers and the Configure-to-Order Manager, and play an active role in the preparation of our cleanroom projects.
In this role:
- You translate concept and sales designs into technically feasible BIM models.
- You develop HVAC and electrical installations, including air handling systems, ductwork, utilities, cabling, and electrical panels.
- You create and manage coordination and installation drawings in Autodesk Revit.
- You perform clash detection and coordinate with architectural, HVAC, and electrical design disciplines.
- You support project preparation by providing insight into constructability, phasing, and material requirements.
- You contribute to the expansion of our BIM library within the configure-to-order strategy.
- You work closely with project managers and site managers to proactively eliminate execution risks.
- You contribute to an efficient, standardized engineering workflow that enables the scalability of our cleanrooms.
Skills & Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as HVAC, electromechanics, or energy technology, or equivalent through experience.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in technical drafting or BIM modeling.
- Proven knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical installations.
- Very good knowledge of Autodesk Revit; AutoCAD is a plus.
- Affinity with project preparation and execution.
- Structured, critical, and eager to learn.
- You think in systems and integrated solutions.
