The summer months brought not only sunny days, but also four new colleagues to ABN Cleanroom Technology. We’re proud to welcome Jens, Thomas, Yeganeh, and Thijs to our team and we’d like to briefly introduce them.
Fresh energy and new ideas
This summer, Yeganeh Barati started as an intern in Strategy & Innovation Management. During her internship, she is exploring how we as an organization can make the most of the rise of artificial intelligence. From internal processes to practical applications in our day-to-day operations, Yeganeh brings fresh insights on deploying AI across different layers of ABN.
We also welcomed Thomas Nelissen. Thomas recently earned his master’s in architectural design, with the role of artificial intelligence central to his thesis. This summer, he is focusing on the combination of BIM and AI to further strengthen our productized cleanroom concept through the ADAPTUS platform. He is also supporting multiple teams in identifying and developing concrete AI applications in their workflows.
Jens Mannaerts has also taken a great step in his career. After a successful internship within our R&D and Innovation team, he is moving into a permanent role as Validation Engineer. With a degree in electromechanics (specializing in HVAC systems), Jens contributes to the validation and performance of our innovative cleanroom concepts. His expertise also fits perfectly with the further development of our ADAPTUS platform, where data-driven validation is essential for sustainable and efficient cleanrooms.
Finally, we are pleased to introduce Thijs Vandevelde. Thijs is 26, lives in Hasselt, and recently joined ABN as a Project Manager. With his passion for technology and a fresh perspective, he is the perfect match to further shape our innovative cleanroom projects and make them a success.
Building the future together
With Jens, Thomas, Yeganeh, and Thijs on board, we are taking another step forward in our ambition to make cleanrooms smarter, more sustainable, and more reliable. We wish them every success—and above all, lots of enjoyment—in their new roles, and we look forward to their contributions to our team and projects.
Wishing you every success: Yeganeh, Thomas, Jens & Thijs!
