Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

About the Job
You are ultimately responsible for the electrical design and instrumentation within complex cleanroom projects. From the concept phase to delivery, you monitor quality, standardization, and technical performance. You combine engineering with coordination and always think one step ahead.
As an E&I Engineer, you take ownership of the entire E&I part of our projects and actively help build the further rollout of our modular platform ADAPTUS®.
- Designing and developing electrical concepts, diagrams, and documentation
- Determining and specifying measurement and control technology
- Reviewing and optimizing electrical diagrams and E&I documentation
- Technical coordination with internal teams and external partners
- Monitoring execution and providing support during the testing and startup phase
- Translating international standards (IEC, UL, CE, …) into concrete solutions
- Actively contributing to the standardization and scalability of our solutions
- Integrating safety, reliability, and risk management into every design
- Supporting troubleshooting and optimizations in existing installations
- Collaborating on the further integration of IoT, networks, and data visualization within our projects
Skills & Qualifications
You are an engineer who doesn’t just execute, but also provides direction. Someone who brings structure to complexity and takes ownership of their projects.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electromechanics, automation, or mechatronics
- At least 5 years of experience in E&I projects (experience in a regulated sector is a strong plus)
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and instrumentation
- Experience with diagrams, cable and I/O lists, and component selection
- Thorough knowledge of relevant standards (IEC, NEN, VDE, …)
- Experience with EPLAN is essential
- Strong analytical skills, communicative, and decisive
- Hands-on mindset and solution-oriented
- Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English
- VOL-VCA certified or willing to obtain this
